Remembering a dead person is solely for making their surviving friends and family feel better. The dead guy doesn't care, he's dead.
When I am dead I hope people find something to laugh about over it instead of moping like ******** emos anyway. However, using my death as an excuse to go gank easy targets in a spaceship videogame would be the ultimate honor.
